Westshire:

Chronometer - (item) a device one uses to the time

Stutterstep - moreso than just fancy footwork it also means to stumble your way through something

Emsu:

Dregs - (derogatory) scum, trash, poor

Qunk - (insult) dirty/punk/shit

Gharq - (Dammit) Drowning/Sinking

All Light - (all right) it's ok/greeting (usually used religiously)

Fun facts about Æden

Westshire:

The newbies on the block; an independent country formed from refugess of the others as well as stragglers of the Apocalypse

Emsu:

Was once a massive and thriving country that was hit hard after both the Apocalypse and the Fracturing

Nakanai:

They would very much like to be left alone, thank you. After the events of the Fracturing, they've closed borders

Land of Light:

The elusive and mysterious landmass that appeared at the end of the world

Æden:

Technically, the landmass that makes up Æden is a relatively new development in their history.

Nox Lux:

The black hole that sustains life for Æden is referred to differently by different parties

Rifts:

Have no bound to the level of destruction they can cause

Vitreous Belt:

The scientific name for the Night Veil, the orbiting ringlike dust cloud, that when covering Nox Lux, creates 'sunset' and 'night'
